iCan Shine to Host Oklahoma City Bike Camp

302722_482779351767197_1199120114_niCan Shine, formerly, Lose The Training Wheels, is an organization dedicated to helping children and adults with disabilities discover the joy of an active lifestyle, particularly through teaching people with disabilities to ride bicycles.  They are hosting a iCan Bike Camp in Oklahoma City on August 5-9 at the Oklahoma City Community College.  This event will be a great opportunity for local individuals to gain the independence and healthy benefits that come from cycling. In lead up to this great event, they are holding a painting fundraiser and silent auction at the Wine and Palette Studio at 201 NW 10th Street in Oklahoma City from 12:00 to 3:00 PM this Saturday, March 16th, 2013.  Entry is $40 with $10 going directly to the iCan Shine organization.  The fee covers your paint, brushes, canvas, instructor and snacks.  You can register here.  At the end of the class, you will have your own version of the famous Starry Night to take home with you like the one shown below:
