We are a few days into the National Bike Challenge and are getting some great rides logged.  At this point, the 14 registered OBS members have logged 770 miles worth of rides for 1,410 points which puts our team at #113 in the nation out of 834 teams.  Sharon “The Machine” White is currently leading the individual points total with 223 points followed by myself at 191 points and with Moni and Roger Welch currently tied for third with 144 points.  Great job logging those miles!

However, we are currently falling way behind local rival team, Team OK Freewheel who have logged an impressive 1,376 miles for 2,056 points which puts them at 56th place in the country.  I think we can catch them and pass them by!  If you haven’t signed up, please go to our team page at https://nationalbikechallenge.org/team/5170 and click the join link on the left hand side of the page.  It costs nothing to sign up and you will be entered for prizes throughout the challenge which lasts through the end of September.  Let’s see if we can’t get OBS to the top of the leader board!

As always, if you have any issues, please email me at nathan@lostinok.com.
