A new OBS Committee is being formed to improve cyclist’s interaction with the OKC city government. This committee will initially focus on these issues:

  • Providing cyclists a way to easily submit suggestions or report problems to the city.
  • Improving the communications from the city to cyclists about trail updates and other biking news.
  • Providing a way for city planners to get input from cyclists when changes to streets or trails are being designed.
  • Work with the city to prepare an application to be considered as a “Bicycle Friendly Community” through the League of American Bicyclists
  • Coordinate cycling safety classes with city groups and events
